This week has been by far the strangest and most beautiful of our EP fundraiser.
Like I've mentioned before, my fundraiser gives people who'd like to support independent music the chance to Pre-Order My EP on Fund It, and in return they will get a Digital Download + Signed CD before the EP is officially released.
Week 3 of this fundraiser was quite difficult. On some days I could hardly even get one person to pre-order the EP. I was feeling quite upset, as I saw my chances of recording this EP decline with each day.
On one night I decided to lift my spirits by going to Limerick to visit a friend. We played an open mic and after we went to this small town Liscannor to see Luka Bloom play. I'd never seen him before and had always meant to do so. I was blown away by his music and his spirit. He seemed calm and so in command of the audience and his music. The next day I sent him an email to thank him for his music and I mentioned the fundraiser. Surprisingly he replied and told me some lovely thing about my music and asked for my adress. A few days later I found this in the mail:

I can't quite describe how it feels when someone you deeply respect supports you. It's just amazing! People like Luka and the friends, family and fans that have supported me have totally blown me away!
Then week 3 of the fundraiser got even better when I heard my single On My Mind was played on Raidió na Life. Later I also got offered to play at the incredible Ruby Sessions after the host had seen me play at another gig.
Suddenly week 3 of this fundraiser started changing and people started pre-ordering the EP again. To the point that now, on day 23 we've raised 2850 euro for the EP and we just need another 50 EP Pre-Orders to reach our goal.
